I’m running couple of Basic Photo Courses; nothing very hard to follow, no more than 6 or 7 lessons to give a good ideas to beginners on how to take better photos, no matter which camera they are using.
Here one example of “composition on the road”. I run my Courses or Workshop mainly in Venice but I also have options for other European cities or in USA also. Most of the participants, very often, use to ask me if it’s mandatory to travel worldwide to get nice shots or quickly improve their photography skills.
My reply is… NO
You don’t need to travel far away your home or city to learn how to manage light and how to frame or compose a shot.
Take a look to this photo. My “students” and me were in Venice, hidden areas, as usual (no people around us); a broom “resting” on a wall. Stupid shoot? Nothing important or exciting? Probably… but if you look to the composition, also a simple broom could be an incredible good exercise.
